Timo Voutilainen started a new project. He connected a GPS device to the Commodore C64. If you want to built your own C64 navigation system you will need the following components: CRIUS NEO-6 GPS v3.0 + I2C-GPS NAV -combo, 3.3V USB FTDI cable, Arduino IDE 1.05 and a user-port connector.

C64 Studio is a assembly development environment which is dependent on VICE. You can write assembly code and test this with the VICE emulator. FieserWolf released a new version of the Petscii Editor. The options are: SET - Character set mode, PAINT - Colourize mode and BOTH - Set and Colourize. Stian Søreng is developing a Flash cartridge for the Commodore C64. After a few problems Stian has now a working cartridge. The AVR microprocessor can now write the cartridge image to the RAM and the Commodore C64 can read the RAM. The next step is to write the firmware.

Crazy Dog Racing is a new game for the Commodore C64 made by Kriss and Rihardo. The game is a top-down viewing arcade racing game. The main characters are dogs, and they race on twelve different circuits from the desert to the north pole. The game has a two player option and you can use the fire button for activating the turbo.

The TND64 web page announced the new SEUCK competition for the year 2014. You can send in your games from January until March. The voting will be in April or May. The rules are similar to last year's competition, but this time round, no enhancements or music is allowed to be added to the game for the competition.

HerMIDI is a MIDI interface for the Commodore 64 made by Hermit. The devices has only a few components and you can built it yourself. The schematics, firmware and PCB are available. The device works together with the SID-Wizard program.

MAD Scientist made a new power adaptor for the Commodore C64. He uses a standard power supply from the PC with a Molex connector that has 5 VDC and 12 VDC. His adaptor makes 9 VAC from the 12 VDC and together with the 5 VDC it is connected to the Commodore C64. You can follow the progress on the Forum64.de web page.

Baron Ashler released the game A.R.C.O.S. for the Commodore C64. In the game you must fight against the aliens. You have the control over the ultra secret weapon called A.R.C.O.S. Besides defeating the aliens you must also save as much spaceman as you can.

This game is a conversion of the Atari arcade version of Tetris. The game is written by Karoshier, the music is from fieserWolf and the graphics are from Karoshier and Sampaguita. The original Atari version is from 1988 and is based on the original Teris game from Alexey Pajitnov from 1985.

Per Håkan Sundell released a new version of his Commodore C64 emulator. Changes in this version: Emulator improvements to support more demo's such as EmuSuxx0r from Crest. More PAL artefacts such as blurring, etc., have been implemented. You can download this C64 emulator from Per's web page.

On the web page of Siem Appelman you can now download the game Creatures as a cartridge image. The game was made in 1990 by John and Steve Rowlands and released for the Commodore C64, the Amiga, the ZX Spectrum and the Atari ST. The original game was only available as a cassette or as a diskette.

Re-Alienator is a new game made by Yngve with the help of Sideways Scrolling SEUCK. The music in the game is made by Aldo Chiummo. The military base has been infested with hungry slimy green aliens. A time bomb has been set to destroy all alien life forms. But you must escape the site before the bomb will detonate.

There is a update available of the High Voltage SID Collection. There are now more then 44.000 SIDs in the collection. In this update 825 new SIDs, 233 fixed/better rips, 910 SID credit fixes, 120 SID model/clock infos, 8 tunes identified and 67 tunes moved. You can download the update from the HVSC web page.

Erwin van Betten has successfully reproduced the handlebar caps and the keyboard clips for the Commodore SX-64. Erwin uses an CAD program to design the parts and a 3D printer to make the parts. The parts are printed with an LulzBot TAZ 3D printer equipped with a Budaschnozzle 2.0 w / 0.35mm nozzle.

Wilfred Bos released a new version of ACID 64 Player Pro. Changes in this version: Improvements: Folder management for the HVSC, MUS files, layout, first file played is now always added to history list and other small improvements.
