SketchBlock is a drawing program for AmigaOS made by Andy Broad. The aim of this project is to create a sophisticated application for digital painting. Reslain made the game Ultimate Quest: Catacomb for the Commodore 64. Work on the game was started in 1989, but the game was never finished. The game is a role playing game and features a city map, wilderness areas and a dungeon to explore. The version from 1989 was improved by replacing the slow BASIC routines with faster machine language routines. The game will be released by Psytronik.

Xlogical is a game for AROS, the game is based on the Amiga game Logical! by Rainbow Arts. XLogical is a mouse based game where you use the mouse to turn the spinners and move the balls around. You must fill the spinners with balls. If the spinners are full they will stop glowing, when all spinners stop glowing you can go to the next level.

The game Bomberland is released for the Commodore C64 by Samar productions. The game is written by Michal Okowicki and the music is from Owen Crowley. The game has gorgeous high resolution graphics, challenging boss battles, tons of different enemies, password saves, game-changing power-ups, multiple play modes and an awesome SID soundtrack.

TOSEC has been updated. TOSEC, or The Old School Emulation Center, is a group of people dedicated to the preservation of games and other programs for home computer and console systems. In this update: 21 new, 104 updated and 4 removed.

Victragic released a game for the Commodore VIC-20. The game is based on the Atari VCS game "Maze Craze" and others. You must get to the exit on the right side of the screen, then back to either exit on the top-left or bottom-left before your time runs out. Avoid the black hounds, hitting one will knock 10 seconds off your time.

The RGCD web page is organising a cartridge development competition for the third time. Peter Kosyh made an SDL port of the Gweled game for AROS. Gweled is a clone of the Bejeweled game. In this game you must swap a gem to make an horizontal or vertical row of three or more of the same gems. After you made a row of gems they disappear and the empty spaces are filled in with gems that fall from the top.

Marek Karcz made an Commodore C64 version of Game of Life (GOL). The screen is a 2 dimensional grid with cells. Each generation is calculated by counting the live neighbours on adjacent cells. The rules are: Death - Each dot that has 1 or no live neighbours dies out of loneliness. Each dot that has 4 or more live neighbours, dies out of the overcrowding. Life - On each empty cell that has exactly 3 live neighbours, a new dot is born. Each dot that has 2 or 3 live neighbours, remains in its live status.
