Kananga released a new program for the Final Expansion 3. This program allows you to have up to eight virtual environments (tasks) on your VIC-20 with a FE3 simultaneously. The supervisor and SJLoad will be loaded at start up. You can create and reset tasks, switch between them by using the restore key or a SYS call, and you can save or load a task.

Kananga also made a small demo called Fire.

Caffeine Kid released a classic Commodore VIC-20 game for Andriod. The game Blitz was original written by Peter Calver for the Commodore PET and was named Air Attack. The game was later converted by Simon Taylor and published under the name Blitz. In the game you need to destroy a city with a small airplane. You can use your bombs to destroy the building but don not fly into the buildings.

Kananga is working on a RAM disk for the Commodore VIC-20 and the Final Expansion 3. This RAM disk makes use of the 512 kByte of extra RAM from the FE3 and will give you a virtual disk with 1651 blocks free. At the moment Kananga is working on making the RAM disk faster, but you can try the beta version.

This mode offers 104 x 256 pixels and 3 fixed colors in each of the 256 lines plus 1 color per 4 x 8 block. The hardware requirements are a VIC-20 (PAL) with a 16K RAM expansion.

There is a new trackmo demo from TRSI called Going Lowres. The demo was made by Streetuff, Linus and Veto and won 6th place at the Breakpoint 2010 Wild Compo.
