Runaway is a new game for the Commodore VIC20 computer, developed by Rainer Kappler. You were caught spying and was imprisoned. You managed to escape from your cell, but you still have an ankle bracelet on your leg equipped with a time bomb, you have only a limited amount of time per floor to reach the other end. Because only when you reach the other end will the timer reset, allowing you to proceed to the next floor.
