Armin Sander is the programmer of the famous 8-tracks tracker Oktalyzer on Amiga. The problem with an 8 track tracker was that the CPU was not fast enough to mix all 8 channels in real-time. Thomas Koch made a prototype for a Minimig case last year. It is now possible to print the case with a 3D printer. After printing it may be necessary to make some small modification to fit the LEDs and if you want to hide the small lines from the printing process you can apply a coat of paint.

Dave Parsons made the game Og for the Amiga. The game is a side-way scrolling game in the Wonderboy style. The original game has only 32 colours. The later version was a AGA version which had 64 colours, much smoother sky colours and better screen fades. Dave thought he lost the AGA version after his hard-disk failed, but he found a copy on a diskette.

Powermanga is a shoot'em up game for AROS. In the game you start with a ship. To get better weapons you must shoot the enemy. You also can get more weapons with the green and red gems. You can score more points with the blue gems, pink is for energy and yellow gives you protection.

For the PC it is possible to replace the old disk drive with an emulator that uses a USB memory stick. Sadly this doesn't work for the Amiga, because the Amiga uses it's own format for diskettes. But now you can replace the firmware of the disk drive emulator and use it on the Amiga.

Ralf Hoffmann released a new version of APCComm for the Amiga. This program can be used to transfer data between a Amiga (OS2.0) and a PC (Linux). The transfer is via a parallel cable and the transfer speed is 38 KByte/s. With this new version it is possible to read and write ADF disk images.

Amigapd had an interview with Ian West. Ian started programming on the Amiga. He started with Basic and his first real game project was a maze game. He later wrote more games for the Amiga: Ork Attack, Santa and Rudolph Do Christmas, The Unusual Case of Doctor Strange and Doctor Strange 2.
